Through AmeriCorps Seniors, individuals age 55+ turn a lifetime of skills and experience into meaningful impact — supporting students, assisting older adults, and meeting critical community needs.

Our Impact

In 2025, Utah’s AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers used their skills and experience to strengthen communities, support children and older adults, and meet critical local needs — improving the lives of thousands across the state.

Who can serve?

AmeriCorps Seniors is open to individuals age 55 and older. Volunteers in the Senior Companion and Foster Grandparent programs must meet income eligibility guidelines (at or below $2,660 per month for a one-person household or $3,606 per month for a two-person household; medical expenses may be deducted). The RSVP program does not have income requirements.

How can I serve?

When you join AmeriCorps Seniors, you choose how you want to give back. Help a struggling child learn to read. Deliver groceries to an elderly neighbor. Support a family impacted by natural disaster. These are just a few of the service opportunities available to you through AmeriCorps Seniors.
