About RSVP
The AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP program pairs hundreds of Utahns aged 55 and older with organizations making change in communities across the state. AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers who serve in the RSVP program choose how, where, and when they want to serve, with commitments ranging from a few hours to 40 hours per week. You can find an opportunity with any of the organizations below that see service as a solution to local, regional, and national challenges. AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers report better health and longevity having served their community.

Finding purpose and leaving a legacy of service.
After retiring early due to a disability, Bruce struggled to find direction — until he discovered RSVP with AmeriCorps Seniors. Serving one-on-one with older adults through Meals on Wheels, he found joy, connection, and a renewed sense of purpose. Bruce’s dedication even inspired his brother to join him in service. When he passed away in April 2024, his AmeriCorps Seniors name badge and Meals on Wheels shirt were displayed at his funeral, a powerful testament to the pride and love he felt for serving his community.
